Lafayette Terrace, conveniently located area in the Chicago neighborhood of Englewood, was acquired by Preservation of Affordable Housing as part of its revitalization of South Side Chicago neighborhoods including nearby Woodlawn.
Built in 1983, Lafayette Terrace consists of a 52-unit midrise apartment building for seniors and 7 wood-frame buildings with 42 family duplex townhome units. The midrise consists of 40 one-bedroom and 12 two-bedroom units, all occupied by seniors and persons with disabilities. The Townhomes offer two- and three-bedroom units.
Residents have easy access to the CTA Red Line 69th St. rail station and many neighborhood amenities.
